Where do the local White-faced Herons nest?
Out at Kelly's Swamp on Monday, 3 W-FH's were feeding on the far side of Kelly's Swamp. One looked smaller than the other two and then this morning this little guy (2nd photo) was out on his own looking a little lost. He flew across to one of the fence posts infront of the Cygnus hide then on to the Spoonbill nesting tree landing near the lower LH nest.
A White Ibis gave him a bit of a hard time and he moved to the far side of the tree. I couldn't stay long enough to see where he went from there.
Regards
Lindell
