It was a great photo of something quite interesting and I think it well worth publishing somewhere. Of course we mostly know how sociable these birds are and that they like doing this sunbaking. However I for one have never seen a communal display like that by them or any other species. It is not surprising, just rather impressive to actually see it (or even a photo of it).
