I've not been to Mount Rogers regularly over the past 2 weeks but each time, & at varying times of day, there have been SPs present. Birdwatchers have also been reported!
The SPs are usually active (rather than perched) in that there's plenty of movement to & fro between eucalypts. .
To the south of Mt R over the same period there have been regular flights through Flynn in varied directions.
Since I saw pairs busily eating loquats & have had reports of plums & wattle pods being of interest it seems they are actively seeking-out unharvested fruit from gardens. This would obviously account for 'surveillance-flights' in varied directions.
 
It will be interesting to hear whether the Molonglo is crossed more often this summer.
