Yesterday afternoon at Kelly's we saw a black-faced cuckoo-shrike on the ground pulling apart a small bird.  I thought that it was New Holland honey eater.  It then flew to a branch and continued with its meal.  But it dropped the bird and caught it before it reached the ground.  Would the BFCS have killed the bird itself or just happened upon it?
