Good Afternoon

Since 2003 NSW NPWS (DECC) has coordinated an annual Australian white ibis survey and this years survey will be conducted on Sunday the 14th of December.  This years survey is being jointly organised by DECC and the Australian Museum.

As with previous years, you are invited to provide details on white ibis within your local area to aid our understanding of this species.  Specifically, the population, distribution and the environments in which ibis inhabit.

Please forward this email to as many interested persons as possible (e.g. volunteers and industry).

We understand that counting on Sunday may not be ideal and we are happy to accept counts as close to Sunday as possible, just report the date of the count.

Your assistance is greatly appreciated and vitally important.

Kind regards

John
