On last Sunday (5-10) the Intermediate Egret spent a long time directly in front of the Bittern hide giving very close views in the easiest of conditions. Even more notable, one Little Grassbird was equally obliging, pottering about at the base of the reeds and the foreshore in front of the hide in easy view for a long time. Also a pair of Sacred Kingfishers seen together from the Cygnus hide and a White-winged Triller also observed.
