Further to the earlier postings by Marnix and by me .
It probably wasn't the same female Musk Duck and it would appear nothing has happened to the " other" youngster.
This morning (20/09/08) there were two female Musk Duck parents at Yerrabi Pond.
One with two young and one with one.
All the young were pretty much of an age (one to two weeks).

I forgot to mention that I saw probably the same female Musk Duck on Sunday
evening but with 2 small balls of black by its side on Yerrabi Pond.
I wonder what happened to the other youngster.

Cheers

Hi All

Amongst the 400 plus coot on Yerrabi Pond this morning was a female Musk
Duck with a dependant young that I would guess at about 2 days old;
certainly under a week. Can anyone "age" it for me. (16/09/08)
