Dear All,
A single little Eagle, harried by Magpies, glided along Mackenzie St,Hackett today Middayish....18th August....Interesting this mature Bird was carrying an old tree branch,(Presumably nesting)if so,this is excellent news...about 1999 they tried on the back of Mt Ainslie,in an old and expanded crows nest close to the foot track close to the Saddle,on the Western face...below the Mt Ainslie Road proper..nothing came of it though...I am going away for a while tomorrow so no good contacting me...Regards...Terry Gourlay.
