I completely agree with Ian on this and will add a suggestion. Rather than
just destroy any eggs, please donate them to the Australian National
Wildlife Collection at CSIRO Sustainable Ecosystems, especially if they are
fresh. The same goes for any introduced species. Please feel free to contact

I know I've said this before, but at the risk of being tedious I would
most strenuously urge anyone who has STDs nesting accessibly to
intervene with fullest prejudice. At the very least please remove nest
and eggs. I regard STDs as an incipient disaster - it would be very
ironic if, at a time when huge community efforts seem to be making some
headway against the Indian Myna tide, we allowed another known
dangerously invasive species to become established.
I will not inflict the arguments on the group at large again, but if
anyone isn't familar with the arguments I can send an article I wrote
some years ago for Gang-gang. (Off-line, of course!)
