If you have a look at the paper by Burton and Martin,  Analysis of Hybridization between Black-backed and White-backed Magpies in south-eastern Australia. Emu 76, 30-36 you will find from Fig 2 that this bird has a hybrid index of 2 with only 4.6% of Canberra birds having this index.
