My GBS magpie is busy building at the moment. Along with some other recent signs (Yellow-rumped Thornbill collecting spiderwebs and, possibly, Noisy Miners copulating, as well as some other breeding records reported by others on the COG chatline recently, I wonder if we are in for an early season, or, for that matter, even what might constitute an early season?
