There was a single Cockatiel on the powerlines on Stretton Drive opposite
the Chapman Primary School today. Also several Noisy Miners in the
vicinity. Are NMs regulars in this part of the world or are they some
distance from their usual haunts like those reported by Geoffrey at Rocky
Knob?.
Another interesting observation on Sunday was a Black Shouldered Kite
hovering over the unpaved dividing strip on the Gungahlin Drive extension -
can't remember exactly where but somewhere between Ginninderra Drive and
Mitchell.
Cheers
