I saw a only a single pair of White-fronted Chats at Stromlo last week on a quick visit. They were foraging in the rough alongside the grass running track some 100 metres east of the main building. On every occasion that I have seen the chats they have always been in and around the main car park and running track and not near the creek, but then I have usually not wandered down that far.
