Alastair Smith called me this morning about 8.30am to say he was watching the 
Grey Goshawk reported yesterday by Richard Harding.  I headed out there with my 
scope and found Alastair still watching the bird, and we obtained great views 
of it.  Well worth taking a scope if you're heading out there because you can 
get a good elevated view of the area.  Apart from that, the area known as Finch 
Central was remarkably devoid of birds - all hiding from the goshawk, I guess!
