This morning at the Bredbo Recreation Reserve - a male Ring-necked Pheasant. An obvious escapee. It looked forlorn. I think it would have sold its freedom for a bit of company and a handful of wheat. I surveyed four grids, but apart from the pheasant, the day's highlight was heading back home after the hail drove me from Mt Dowell Reserve.
