Hello Phillip.
Actually when I took the photos the bird was at the same level as me (i.e. head hight) and no I don't its history (save that I've been seeing on and off for the past three years), but I don't see any reason to think that it's anything other then a lecustic bird. There are no Corella characteristics on it (save for the white feathers and then I would expect the over all coloration to be much more uniform), size and shape are perfect for Galah etc. But perhaps the most important is that the offspring of the pair were normal Galahs.
Here a Long-billed Corella x Galah cross:

Dimitris,
Thanks for that. Well if it is not the same bird, it is
almost exactly the same. It looks the same to me, although we saw it at
different angles. My impression was of rather more bare blue-grey skin around
the eye than what your photo appears to show. But either could appear
variable. I was looking down at it on the ground (apart from seeing it as it
flew towards us) and your photo is looking up at it. That alone could account
for that difference. Do you know its history to say it is not a hybrid? Though
it had a lot more of the Galah look about it than a Corella.
