Good morning all,

I have just had (1015 hrs) a very young plumaged – pale head and mantle, buffy back and generally light coloured all over – Wedge-tailed Eagle circling low over my house in Kaleen. It was trying to gain height to avoid 4 Australian Ravens, and numerous Australian Magpies trying to harass it. The local Galah, Sulphur-crested Cockatoo and Pied Currawong populations were not all that impressed by its appearance either.
