A few days ago, I watched 7 sulphur
crested cockatoos feasting on both green and ripe tomatoes growing from a mound
in the front yard of the house across the road. The tomatoes have been
there for quite a while, and there are always cockies around, but it is the
first time I've seen them eating tomatoes.
