Herewith some obs from last Sunday, on Cooleman Ridge, walking up from Kathner St.: Brown falcon: 1; WT eagle: 2 soaring at great height; Scarlet robin: 1 pair; Flame robin: 1 pair; Southern whiteface: at least 2; Diamond firetail: 10-12. Also Yellow-rumped and Buff-rumped thornbills, Striated pardalotes, a quick burst of song that sounded like Grey-butcherbird. And no honeyeaters of any kind.
