Late swan breeding?

I dropped in to the Fyshwick Sewage Ponds this afternoon, and was
surprised to see a young, fluffy grey Black Swan cygnet being
shepherded by its parents on Pond 7.  This seems quite late to me -
possibly a second or third brood for the season?
