Hi all,
Just to say that the Swift Parrots were still around the water tank at Mt Majura this morning.
I saw a flock of 4 when I arrived at 8:45, but the flock of 20 didnt show up until 10 am. They hung around the tank area and were still there when I left at 11:20. They spent nearly all their time in the upper canopy of the eucalypts, but eventually came lower and afforded great views (photo attached).
Thye were often being chased by such birds as Currawongs and Miners and also rosellas, which was rather annoying.
Regards,
Tobias Hayashi

PS Its worth going to see them, they are great little parrots.
