In light of the below request, I am forwarding this without the
massive attachment (bigger even that the one Jack sent around). If
Canberra’s iconic Gang-gang does not appear as such I suppose you can
blame me. I told the crew that at that particular time, and given their tight
schedule, filmable G-gs in the Canberra area could not be guaranteed.

Subject: FW: Australia- Land of Parrots ON AIR Sunday 4 May, 2008 on
ABC1 at 7.30pm
21st April,
08
Dear All,
At long last
our film about Parrots has a ON AIR date -
SUNDAY
4th MAY, 2008 ON ABC1 at 7.30pm
We would
like to get the word out so people interested might view it and were wondering
if you would be able to help by telling everyone you know!
If you work
in a large organisation like a University, school, Scientific Research place or
any where else there might be TV viewers, would you either place a flyer on the
noticeboard or email colleagues.
There will
be extra MAKING OF material on the ABC Website which will be posted on the
night of the telecast too.
If you have
helped with the production, in any way, we sincerely thank you - we would'nt
have found the birds to film without you!
We hope you
enjoy the programme and thank you in advance for helping us spread the word.
Kind
regards,
Liz Parer-Cook
