Howdy All,

Not sure whether this is of note or not, but at 8am this morning when weeding in section 4 (below the rockery area) we were visited by a pair of yellow robins. A workmate there said that they were common but that they haven't seen them in quite a while and had thought they'd moved somewhere else, so I don't know whether ours are migratory or not (books say that some are migratory and others aren't). I'd never seen them before so I was rather pleased, particularly as they were totally unphased by having us there weeding and at times were happily foraging within a metre of so from me. The rest of the day was spent with White-browed Scrubwrens, Eastern Spinebills and the like following along behind us as we weeded and picking up insects. Altogether a lovely way to spend a day. <grin>

Cheers.
