HANZAB says there hasn't been an accepted record of Pacific Swallow for the HANZAB region. They also talk of dark chevrons on the undertail coverts of Welcome Swallow. Interestingly, no illustrations I have been able to find in any guides (or the photos on the COG website) show these clearly. One of the illustrations in HANZAB hints at the chevrons (as do some of the 645 images - that is their count, I didn't look at them all - of this species on Avibase).
