One juv. present this afternoon at 3.30, clambering about the reeds and preening, close to Geoffrey’s south-easternmost star (bottom right), but a bit further S. & E., in the outer band of reeds. Thanks to Geoffrey and David for the most helpful map and directions. I’d tried several times to find these birds, without success.

I have seen a juv at the points marked by the 5 yellow stars and glimpsed a probable adult male at the point marked by the violet star
