I understand they are very temperature sensitive, and global warming is driving them a bit south and a bit up, hence Mt Rogers popularity.

4 birds seen (and heard) flying high in a north-easterly direction over the Kippax Shopping Centre at 1245 today – Monday. Are all the birds over the last two seasons an indication of a resurgence of the species or are they refugees from the drought further to the west?
