Bird Survey Volunteers for Newhaven: March 2008

In July and August this year the Australian Wildlife Conservancy organised a very successful volunteer programme of bird surveys at Newhaven. It has been decided to repeat these surveys at a different time of the year, when markedly different conditions will prevail. We are therefore seeking the assistance of four experienced bird surveyors for the last two weeks of March 2008. Familiarity with arid zone bird species and working with GPS is highly desirable. Willingness to bring your own 4WD vehicle for the surveys would be welcomed. Reimbursement of food and fuel expenses whilst at Newhaven is available, and some additional assistance may be possible.
Limited accommodation is available.
