For the last year or so, one of the Blackbirds in our garden has been incorporating a distant Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoo call into its repertoire. Gets me every time. And now it's borrowing phrases from recently arrived the Brown Thornbill...

On another point, during the day I often hear a two or three note Koel call, but often at the same time as the interminable blackbird carolling.  I am not sure it is a separate Koel, or the Blackbird doing some imitation.
