You can have mine from Scullin.
Wretched thing yodels at 4.00 am far too much.
On another point, during the day I often
hear a two or three note Koel call, but often at the same time as the
interminable blackbird carolling. I am not sure it is a separate Koel, or
the Blackbird doing some imitation.

What is it about Holt that Koels do not like?
Certainly not the pleasant surroundings and the most need to be seen in suburb
in Canberra.
Why, we have Superb parrots by the score (well at least a couple) and
Boobooks. We have both Long-billed and Little corellas but no wretched
Koels.
