Hi folks

At the risk of being "off topic", but responding further to Benj Whitworth and several other members of the list who responded privately, there is another Frog website which does include the call of the Bleating Tree Frog.

This other website: Frogs Australia network, is searchable by "bioregions"

For my area (Robertson, Southern Highlands) I use just one "bioregion" search to find local frogs. I notice this site has an alpine region, which you would use for the really high country frogs (eg Corroboree Frogs) Otherwise. for the wider ACT and surrounds you might search the South-east Uplands bioregion.

I find that being able to "read" the calls of frogs gives an extra dimension to being out in the bush. Between them, the 2 websites I have referred to seem to pretty well cover the topic.

Back to birding.

Cheers
