So visit Kellys Swamp. 
 
Unfortunately not many birds were following the dipterous example at 2pm this afternoon although having 2 Great egrets perched on one log was rather nice. 
 
People who prefer their birds small, round, black and fluffy, rather than large,elongated white and fluffy would have enjoyed the numrous juvenile Swamphens committing great depedation on dragonflies as they paraded past Cygnus hide.  The middle ground (medium size, elongated, black and white and not at all fluffy) was occupied by 4 black-winged stilts.
