We don't do King Parrots at Carwoola, but at Bruce they would often look at us through the window.  The best evidence of them being aware of us was when one perched on a window sill and "bopped along" in time to some nice Irish tunes Frances was playing inside.

we have had KPs do that for some years now - including adults and usually at this time of the year.  We have concluded that KPs seem to have a better concept of glass than most other species and that they like to watch us inside our cage.
