You haven't described the size. I suggest it is not
a Namaqua Dove (Oena capensis). That species is similar in size and
shape to a Diamond Dove (very small). It looks to me in shape and maybe pattern
like the Laughing or Senegal Turtle-Dove. But the Spotted Turtle-Dove is common
there and the most likely unless proven not to be that one. Young ones don't
have the spotted neck. Although neither really fits your
description
