On Tuesday 25 Sept.between 4.45-5.15 pm I watched a single (I think)
Australian Hobby jousting with 3 Currawongs around an old nest in my local
Ainslie park. It was there again the following morning, but not seen since,
until this morning at 7 am when there appeared to be two Hobbys, one on the
nest with attendant 3 disputatious Currawongs, and one in the air. By 7.30,
one perched near the nest, no Currawongs in sight.
Is this early?
