I happened to be in Woden today and at about 10.50 am was walking along Callam Street (eastern side of town centre). Surprised to see a tight flock of five Cockatiels flying together, over Callam Street, sort of towards Woden Cemetery. It was a quick but unmistakable viewing and I did also hear 2 calls (above traffic noise). They were all wild type grey colouring, a mix of males & females but I didn't have enough time to count how many of each.

In about 24 years here that is I think only the second time I've seen a flock of (almost certainly wild) Cockatiels within Canberra.
