1.This morning for only the second time in 35 years here Gang-gang Cockatoos in my Melba garden!
They were heading east, but stopped for a short rest then flew on!

2. I spent the weekend at a camp, run by SCUNA in preparation for concerts in October.
It was held at WarrambuiNE of Murrumbateman.
One of the many highlights was a Little Friarbird (another birdwatcher in the group reported seeing it on Saturday too) The bird atlas says it's a rare summer migrant and that they're often found west of Yass. At publication all recent records had been mid Oct to mid Feb so this could be early/unusual?
