The White-fronted Honeyeater was here throughout Saturday. Sunday was different. Throughout the morning and early afternoon, I went several times to find it but found no sign at all. I thought it was "gone for good". I went to visit ANBG and on my return still couldn't find it. I walked around the "little block" (to the park, Hiles Place and back through my yard). Then as I had given up, it appeared again. It was feeding in blossoms in Gordons' yard, also preening. Then back in the Grevillea but was very active including a long fluttering chase of a moth. Then it went into my peach tree and into the very big Eucalypt in my back yard and was feeding by probing about in the loose bits of bark and at the joins of branches. I had not seen that before. I got about 3 minutes of film of that. On a few quick looks I have not seen it yet today.
