I was there today (Sunday) at 2.30 p.m. Yes the Powerful Owl was in the Melaleuca above the path. This time it was awake and looking around. A Green Satin Bowerbird was fussing around it, keeping about a metre away. The SBB was pulling little bits of bark off the Melaleuca, showing off for the owl and calling a lot. About 8 people were looking at the owl, which was more interested in the SBB.
