In recent weeks several posts have had very
large attachments. This can create a bit of a problem with low download speeds
and (not for me, fortunately, but others) eating into download quotas.
Does anyone have any thoughts about this? I
don’t want to spoil the enjoyment people get from (e.g.) interesting photos but
at the same time as far as I’m concerned, I would prefer to have the choice as
to whether I download them.
One possibility that I use a bit is
downsizing the definition and file size (e.g. via Microsoft Office Picture Manager)
before I send an image, letting anyone who wants the full file have it later…
Any other ideas out there how we can meet the range of needs on this one? J
