It is Martin,

And just as importantly it is the end of the 06-07 COG Bird Observation Year!  So we all need to make sure we get all our observations for 06-07 into COG.

Please drop off all record sheets at COG meetings, or post them to COG  PO Box 301 Civic Square 2608.

Or enter all your records on COG Atlas online at http://www.cogatlas.org.au/

Or get your BirdInfo data of to Birds Australia.

You might even want to get your Garden Bird Surveys in too!

Cheers

Paul

Tax time?  I thought the main event for July 3 was the start of a new GBS year.

Hi all,

No, I don't mean tax time…… At about 12:15 today while driving back from Canberra Hospital I saw a magpie fly into a tree in McCulloch Street near Propsting Street in Curtin carrying a stick. It definitely had nest building intent on its mind. Unfortunately I couldn't stop to see exactly what happened. Richard or Martyn do you want to go and have a look…..?

Cheers,

Mark
