Cockatiels?

A quick question - could cockatiels be expected in Melba at this time of year?
I saw 4 very fast-flying, long parrot-like birds coming between houses, crossing
Grainger Cct on Friday. (abt 2 metres off the ground, heading south)
The main thing about them were white wing patches and it's the only bird I can think of.
Suggestions appreciated.
