A
black-chinned honeyeater was still at
Newline woodland half an hour ago.
Along
with 3 brown treecreepers, 3 Jacky Winters at least. 3 speckled warblers. 4 Shrike tits and a golden
whistler. And some potentially nesting wood
ducks.

Holliday spotted it first then lost it. I found it later, after searching for
half an hour in the rain. Then Ian and Martin just turned up and ticked it
off. The luck of
birding.
