Hi,
I realise it is a bit of a drive, but just in case anybody is
interested:
Swift Parrot and Regent Honeyeater Workshop
Moruya, Luhana Motel
3rd July 10:00am – 4:00pm
Lunch and a morning tea are provided. The day covers introductory
information about the two species and goes further to discuss their habitat
preferences and migratory lifestyle. Threats to the Swift Parrot and Regent
Honeyeater are discussed as well as the actions of the recovery team,
volunteers involvement and what people can do to assist these birds. The day
includes a field component where we go out to some nearby suitable habitat at
about 2:00pm. We will try to car pool as much as possible. Be prepared for the
weather and bring binoculars if you have them.
Please register by contacting me.
Thanks,
Belinda Cooke
