Could I echo and underline these sentiments, and particularly thank the
editor Barbara Allan for all her hard work in bringing the 2005-2006 ABR to
fruition, as well as the writers and contributors of all the data. It's
very easy to overlook all the effort that goes into this very worthy
publication, which again has excellently summarised the status of each local
species over the past year. I particularly like the very useful comparison
with previous years, this is so relevant when I use the ABR, as I often do,
for current information on both common and rarer species.
