The Murrumbidgee is fairly full and flowing steadily at Pt Hutt Crossing.
 
Around 10 this morning, there were the following on the river, its banks or the surrounding periphery:
 
Great Egret, White-faced Heron, Purple Swamphen, Australasian Grebe and Grey Butcherbird (all 1 of), 2 Little Pied Cormorant and 3 Black Duck - one of which seemed to be just out of the duckling stage as it was quite a lot smaller than the other two.

PS For anyone interested in sighting Cattle Egret, there were still 3 at Kellys Swamp around 1pm today. In the rank grassy flat that lies between the (southern?) far side of the swamp and Jerrabomberra Creek.
