As well as being very impressive, the bird was extremely well behaved, apart from a lack of attention to detail with its toilet habits.
Also of interest was the attitude of the passing masses - during the 20 minutes I watched the bird everyone that passed by seemed to take an interest and make their kids quiet. But then perhaps folk who go to ANBG tend to be more interested in matters natural than the average.
