Wonderful bird! A brief examination of the pellets and possum remains on the path below the owl revealed a lower jaw bone and bits of at least two skulls. After a look at Barbara Triggs' book 'Tracks, scats and other traces' I think the jaw might be from a Sugar Glider - going on size and shape. I'm no expert so happy to be corrected. cheers Steve |
