I agree with Harvey’s latter point. The passage of
honeyeaters over Jerrabomberra in March this year was roughly the same as last
year’s migration in April in terms of numbers and spread. The one
difference seemed to be that daily movements commenced later at about 11am
whereas last year movements commenced at around 9:30.

I have to concur with Philip on this one. While the observations are
interesting, the conclusion is based on very little hard evidence. Also, the
migration this year seems to have been atypical in that there was a fair bit of
movement in early and mid March I think it was, which might/would have impacted
on the numbers moving in mid April...
