I visited this area today for the first time (looking for Shepherds Lookout but overshot the mark).  Highlights were 3 Speckled Warblers, small flock (at least 4) Double Barred Finches, Flame Robins, White faced Heron down at the river and about 25 Red Wattle Birds heading east.

Found Shepherds on the way out.  The parking area looks like the tip but despite this there were some nice birds around, 4 Grey Shrike Thrushes, at least one calling, several each of Crimson and Eastern Rosellas, Red Rumps, Striated Thornbills, a Willy Wagtail, White Plumed Honeyeater, White Browed Scrubwren and about 6 Superb Fairy Wrens.

Cheers
