Hi Ruth. I'm always open to possibilities, especially during drought,
but the nearest wild PHRs I know of are north of Narrabri. I don't know
anything about the world of caged birds and those who enjoy them, but it
seems that must be how this bird originated. The other alternative I
suppose is an unusual colour form of Eastern Rosella. Any chance of a photo?
cheers Ian --- Ian Fraser, Environment Tours; Vertego Environmental Wordsmithing GPO Box 3268, Canberra, ACT 2601 ph: 61 2 6249 1560 fax: 61 2 6247 3227 --- ******************************************************************************************************* This is the email announcement and discussion list of the Canberra Ornithologists Group.
